The Spiddle Hill Project reduces Nova Scotia greenhouse gas production by nearly 4,000 tonnes per year.

This reduction directly offsets coal consumption in the province, a positive step forward for both the local community and Nova Scotia as a whole.

CCWF plans to develop three additional turbines in the coming years. All three will qualify for special electricity rates through the province’s COMFIT (Community Feed-In Tariff) program.
